What this policy covers
This policy explains what we collect when you use apollodrones.co.uk, why we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover other businesses you find through a link on this site.
Information you send us
If you use the enquiry form, or email or telephone us, we receive the details you choose to give. That can include:
- your name
- your email address
- your telephone number, if you add one
- the service you ask about
- what you write about the property or the job
Please don’t send anything sensitive that we don’t need, such as medical information or copies of identity documents, unless we have asked for it for a particular job.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to:
- reply to you and prepare a quote
- arrange a flight, if you go ahead
- keep a record of work we have done, including for tax and in case there is a later question about that job
Replying to an enquiry and carrying out a booking are done so we can take steps at your request and perform a contract. Keeping records of paid work is in our legitimate interests, and where the law requires us to keep them. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for a mailing list.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). When you press submit, your message is sent through that service so it can reach our inbox. FormSubmit is outside Guernsey. We use it only to pass the enquiry to us.
The company that hosts this website may keep ordinary technical logs, such as an IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can run and so misuse can be investigated.
If you press play on the film in the portfolio, your browser loads that film from YouTube. YouTube may then collect information under its own policy. The player is not loaded until you press play, and the film does not start by itself.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept while we are dealing with you, and for a short time afterwards in case you write again. Records of a paid job are kept for up to six years, where we need them for tax or for a question about that work. Technical logs are kept for as long as the host’s ordinary security records require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and in some cases ask us to delete it or to limit how we use it. You can also object to our using it where we rely on legitimate interests. None of this affects a complaint to the regulator.
Write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you before we act on a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Authority in Guernsey at odpa.gg.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. The way we book work is described in the terms.
