These terms cover your use of the Apollo Drone Specialists website, operated by Kristian Guillou from Guernsey. By using the site you agree to them. If you book a flight, the particular job is agreed separately, in the quote we confirm with you.

Information on the site

We take care with what we publish, but the pages are general information. They are not advice about a particular roof, property, claim or building project. Dates, availability and what a flight can cover depend on the site itself.

Quotes and bookings

Sending the form, or an email, is a request for a quote. It does not reserve a date and it does not create a contract. A job is agreed only when we confirm the price, the address and the date with you, and you accept that quote.

Prices shown on the site, including £179 for an inspection and £199 for an inspection with a written report, are our usual prices in Guernsey. A quote may differ if the roof, access, travel or the number of buildings is not a standard visit. Other services are quoted for that job.

A flight can be moved or cancelled if the weather, airspace, permissions, or safe access to the property make it unreasonable to fly. If we cancel for that reason before any work is delivered, you will not be charged for the flight that did not happen.

What a flight can show

Roof and building inspections are a visual record from the air. They show what can be seen in the photographs on the day. They are not a hands-on survey by a building surveyor, and they are not a guarantee that a roof is sound, or that every defect has been found. A written report, where you ask for one, describes that visual record. Decisions about repairs, a purchase, a claim or a safety file should also take account of the right professional advice for that decision.

Flights are made under the permissions that apply to the work, including a Guernsey aerial work permit where the flight is in the Bailiwick. The aircraft are insured for the flying we undertake. That insurance does not widen what these website terms promise.

Photographs and film

Images on this website belong to Apollo Drone Specialists unless we say otherwise. You may not copy them for your own commercial use without our agreement.

Files we deliver for a paid job are for the use described in the quote, for example a listing, a claim file or a site record. We keep the right to use work in our own portfolio unless you ask us, before the flight, not to.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failing to use reasonable care, or of our breaking a contract we have with you. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We are not liable for loss that comes from relying on the website alone, from a third-party site linked from these pages, or from something that could not reasonably have been expected. Where a consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be limited, those rights still apply.

Other websites

Links, films and logos of other businesses are there because of work we have done with them, or to show a film. Those businesses are responsible for their own sites and their own marks.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The courts of Guernsey will deal with a dispute about them, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring a claim in your home courts where the law does not allow that right to be taken away.
